In newer versions of RamBase QMS, we experience that browsers with Adobe pdf readers as an add-on, causes problems with permanent images and downloading files (the streaming part in the QMS application).
Google Chrome and MS Edge have their own built-in pdf readers, so there is no need for a pdf reader as a browser add-on. We therefore recommend that this add-on be removed or switched off in the browser.
NB! Having Adobe pdf reader installed on the PC is not a problem, it is only when it is installed as an add-on in the browser.
Turn off the PDF browser extension in Chrome:
- click the "Extensions" button
- click on "Administrator Extensions"
- Turn off add-on, or
- Remove add-on
Turn off the PDF browser extension in Edge:
- click the "Extensions" button
- click on "Manage Extensions"
- Turn off add-on, or
- Remove add-on
