A folder has permissions. This means that you can decide who is allowed to do what in the folder.

When you add a sub folder it will inherit the permissions from the main folder if not otherwise decided.

To see or edit permissions for a folder:

  • Select the folder
  • Click on the 3 dots
  • Edit properties

  • Select Permissions groups
  • Select the permission groups to edit - then click UPDATE

IMPORTANT! When you update permissions for a folder with sub-folders, you have to choose if the change should apply for all sub-folders with it's content.

IF you choose YES, this will copy the settings for the top folder to all sub-folders.

If you choose NO, the changes will only apply for the chosen folder.
